MassConcerts proudly presents the first details for New England Metal & Hardcore Festival 2013, today confirming the dates and preliminary list of bands for this year’s occurrence of the long-running annual event. For the 2013 installment, the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival will once again overthrow the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, this year marking the 15th anniversary of the iconic weekend-long gathering! The festivities will commence with a pre-party on April 18th, 2013 and the three official days of the fest following on the 19th, 20th, and 21st. The confirmed headliners for the event will include Hatebreed, Opeth and Suicidal Tendencies, as well as legendary thrash titans Anthrax performing their Among The Living album in its entirety, as part of their headlining of the Metalliance Tour.
Mayhem Cruise Cancelled
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond the control of the Mayhem Cruise organizers, they have been forced to cancel the Mayhem Festival Cruise. If you purchased a cruise package, you will be automatically refunded to the credit card you used to purchase. If you used a prepaid card or gift card to purchase the cruise, please contact Rose Tours for your refund (215-663-8800). If you used a credit or debit card, you will see the credit within the next 2 to 3 weeks. They are also offering anyone who purchased a cruise ticket a lifetime complimentary pass for free to the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Summer Tour. You will still receive your cruise refund and receive a lifetime pass to the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Tour. This pass is valid on any tour date beginning in 2013. HATEBREED Begins Work on New Studio Album
HATEBREED is excited to announce that they are currently in the studio self-producing their upcoming full-length album with co-producer assistance from world-renowned metal producers Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold) and Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Suicide Silence, All That Remains, Shadows Fall).
When talking about the new songs, frontman Jamey Jasta said, “This album is so heavy, it’s irresponsible.”

LAMB OF GOD / HATEBREED / LACUNA COIL Cancel Curitiba, Brazil Show Due to Scheduling Conflict
Liberation Music Company is very sorry to announce that, due to irreversible logistics problems, LAMB OF GOD's appearance in Curitiba, Brazil with HATEBREED and LACUNA COIL on April 1st had to be cancelled.
LAMB OF GOD's appearance in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which was originally going to happen on April 3rd, had to be moved to April 2nd, which ended up affecting the band's travel schedule in a very unfavorable manner and forced us to cancel their second show in Brazil.
We would like to offer our apologies to the fans in the Southern part of Brazil and look forward to seeing them at the LAMB OF GOD / HATEBREED / LACUNA COIL show in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on March 31st. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
